Md. Mazharul Islam Bhuiyan, the District Commandant of Ansar and VDP in Nilphamari, has been awarded the Bangladesh Gram Unnayan Dal Medal-2026 (BVM) for his honesty, dedication, and efficiency in discharging his duties. Prime Minister Tariq Rahman, who attended as the chief guest at the national rally of Ansar and VDP held on May 20, handed over this prestigious medal and accolade to him.
This is not his first national recognition for outstanding contribution to his field. Earlier in 2024, he also achieved the 'President's Gram Unnayan Medal' for his meritorious service. Following this consecutive state honor, officials and employees of the District Ansar and VDP, along with various quarters of Nilphamari, extended their heartiest congratulations to him. In a reaction, Md. Mazharul Islam Bhuiyan expressed that this recognition has further enhanced his sense of responsibility toward his duties. He vowed to continue serving the country and its people with utmost integrity in the days ahead.
