
Director General of Indian Border Guard Force (BSF). SL Thaosen visited Banglabandha Zero Point in Panchagarh district. On Saturday (April 15) noon, a team of BSF led by him entered Zero Point through the Indian Phulbari border.
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Additional Director General and North-West Region Region Commander Brigadier General Mohammad Morshed Alam greeted them with flowers. After the floral felicitation, the BSF Director General was given a guard of honour. Later, a memorial was presented on behalf of Rangpur region of BGB to commemorate.
Director General of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has said that the border is playing a successful role in establishing cordial relations between the two countries along the India-Bangladesh border.
BGBRegion Commander of North West Region Brigadier General Mohammad Morshed Alam said that this visit of BSF Director General is to strengthen friendly relations between the two countries. Apart from this, other border issues were also discussed, he said.
Flowers, fruits and crests were later exchanged between the BGB-BSF.
