5th Corps of Military Police Reunion and Annual Captain Conference-2023 was held at Corps of Military Police Center and School, Savar Cantonment yesterday. Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed was present as the chief guest on the occasion. On reaching the Corps of Military Police Center and School, the Army Chief was welcomed by the General Officer Commanding, Army Training and Doctrine Command and the General Officer Commanding 9 Infantry Division and Area Commander Savar Area. Meanwhile, a group of soldiers of the military police corps performed a charming corps reunion parade and greeted the chief guest at the parade ground of the Corps of Military Police Center and School.
The Chief of Army Staff exchanged opinions with the commanders and other officers of the units of the Corps of Military Police, present at the annual commander's conference on the development of the corps, the enhancement of professional skills and the activities conducted at home and abroad. He recalled the glorious heritage of the Corps of Military Police and its contribution to the nation. He thanked the Prime Minister for the contribution of the present government in the modernization of the army. The Army Chief urged all the members of the Corps of Military Police to be ready to face the challenges of the 21st century through modern and up-to-date training.
