Abu Saeed Murder: Two Cops on 4 days remand

The court has granted a four-day remand to the two police officers accused in the murder of Abu Saeed, a student of the English Department of Begum Rokeya University, who was shot by the police during the student agitation. They are Ameer Ali and Sujan Chandra Roy, Assistant Deputy Inspectors of Police (ASI).

On Tuesday (September 10), PBI Rangpur requested a five-day remand of them for their involvement in Abu Saeed's murder.

After the hearing, Judge Asaduzzaman of Metropolitan Magistrate Amli Court-2 remanded them for four days. PBI Rangpur Superintendent of Police Zakir Hossain confirmed the matter.
