Students of North Tiakhali Government Primary School of Amtali Upazila are teaching under trees in the sun and on the balcony of an abandoned building in the rain due to lack of space. This is how the school has been teaching for three years. It is disrupting teaching. The students, parents and teachers of the school have demanded the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to construct the school building as soon as possible.

It is known that in 1973 North Tia Government Primary School of Amtali Upazila was established. In 2003, the local government engineering department constructed a one-story building. After 10 years of building construction, the plasters started to crack. For 5 years, the teachers have been teaching students risking their lives in that collapsed building. The teachers said that several students were injured when they fell off the building's floor. In 2021, the upazila primary education office authorities declared the school building abandoned. Since the declaration of abandonment, teachers have been teaching students in the sun under trees and on the balconies of abandoned buildings in the rain due to lack of space. The teaching of that school is going on like this for the last three years. Headmaster Md. Assistant teachers Abdul Mannan, Daisy Biswas and Nasreen Akhtar said that due to lack of space, the students have to study in the balcony of the abandoned building. Classing under trees in the hot sun and on the balcony in the rain. This is how the teaching has been going on for the last three years. We are having a lot of problems with it. They demanded the construction of the school building as soon as possible.

Habibur Rahman, the head teacher of the school said, I am having a lot of problems with the teaching of the students in the school for three years. I have applied to the upazila education office for the construction of the building, but no effective measures are being taken for the construction of the building.
