Washington university of science and technology (WUST), located in 2900 Eisenhower Ave, Alexandria, VA 22314 has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Let’s Talk Mental Health (LTMH), a mental healthcare and wellbeing organization, to provide mental healthcare for their students aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 3, 4.
Under this agreement, the students of WUST will be made aware of mental health, will be provided support and facilitate mental well-being.
Chancellor Engr. Abu Bokor Hanip of WUST and Co-founder and President of Let’s Talk Mental Health, Anusha Chowdhury, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institution on 10th June 2024.
This partnership aims to provide comprehensive mental health resources, including workshops, counseling services, and educational programs, tailored to the needs of students, faculty, and staff. The partnership is expected to set a precedent for integrating mental health support in educational institutions, addressing the growing mental health challenges faced by students and staff in today's demanding academic landscape
