Alfafaa is currently being used by Muslims in more than 150 countries.
Alfafaa, a social media platform run by Muslims, is gaining popularity in Muslim-majority countries.
It is currently being used by Muslims in more than 150 countries, especially in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Turkey.
"There are many social media platforms available to communicate with colleagues and friends around the world. However, it is difficult for Muslims to use many of them while keeping their faith intact. Keeping all those things in mind, a group of young people in the United States who nurture Islamic ideology has come up with this complete halal social media platform," said Asif Saeed, executive director of Alfafaa.
He said that the authorities upload various Islamic contents, including recitations of the Holy Quran and Hadith, at specific times every day for their users. Although the site is similar to Facebook, it is guided by Islamic principles.
The app is also available on the Google Play Store and Apple Store. Recently, the organisation has released a light version called Alpha Connect for Android phones.
