Project monitoring and management software has been inaugurated in Narayanganj Local Government Engineering Directorate (LGED).
A project monitoring and management software developed for LGED, Narayanganj was inaugurated yesterday. Narayanganj LGED Executive Engineer Sheikh Tajul Islam Tuhin presided over the program. The chief guest was District LGED Superentendent Engineer Md Mahbub Alam. LGED, Narayanganj district and upazila-level officials were also present at the event.
In his speech, the chief guest said that this is one of the steps towards building a smart Bangladesh and in this regard, LGED Narayanganj is working as a pioneer.
He also said, Narayanganj region and other districts can develop smart management system in their respective districts by taking this step. As a result of the creation of the said web-based software, all the information and progress of the works under the various projects currently going on in Narayanganj can be easily understood. As a result, LGED, Narayanganj will be able to contribute to building 'Smart Bangladesh'.
