
Like Bangladesh and West Bengal in India, the Bangali Hindu community is celebeating Durga Puja in different areas in New York city in United States of America.
At least 30 Durga Puja mandaps were built this year.
Durga Puja was celebrated for the first time at Times Square, New York, attracting scores of Bangladeshi-Americans and showcasing Bengali culture.
The two-day event, organised by The Bengali Club USA, kicked off on October 5 and ended on October 6.
A Durga Puja Pandal in the middle of the busy New York city landmark as dozens of people reached the spot to enjoy the momentous event.
With oferring prayers to goddes Durga, the organisers also organised a Bollywood Dance Musical event to wrap up the two-day festival.
