Narayanganj-4 Constituency MP AKM Shamim Osman on Saturday asserted that the Awami League will come back to power once again.
"For those in doubt, I guarantee that the Awami League will return to power, and Sheikh Hasina will be re-elected as the prime minister," he said while addressing a rally at Narayanganj's Railgate number-2 area.
"Narayanganj is our home, and we will not play games here. The forces of independence will play against the BNP-Jamaat and communal force and we will go to Dhaka if necessary,” he said.
“Give us a time and a place to play, we will come, we will play and win,” he asserted.
Alerting the leaders, Shamim Osman said: “By the end of this September or the beginning of October, they will emerge from their holes like snakes and cause chaos once more.”
“They are not doing this to come into power, but rather to destroy the nation,” he said.
He also expressed concerns about further attempts on Sheikh Hasina's life, saying: "When we stand tall, we catch the attention of the major powers in the world. Therefore, there will be attempts on Sheikh Hasina’s life.”
“There have been 21 attempts, yet nothing has transpired. However, we have to be alert, we must be prepared. We have to save our country from their clutches,” he called on the leaders.
