‘There is no place for extortionists, gangsters, occupiers, or arms dealers in the country’. BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury said the politics of BNP is for the people of Bangladesh.

He further said: "Under the direction of Tarique Rahman, our party workers have rushed to every disaster-stricken area because BNP's politics is for the people of Bangladesh. BNP's politics is the politics of the people of Bangladesh."

He made these remarks on Wednesday afternoon during a relief distribution event among the flood victims.

Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury said: "There is no place for extortionists, gangsters, occupiers, or arms dealers in the country. According to Tarique Rahman's directive, those involved in such activities, regardless of their party affiliation, must be stopped. They have no place in BNP. Hand them over to the law."

"This BNP leader said: "We want peace. We will move forward with everyone. The 31-point reform proposal given by Tarique Rahman contains solutions to fundamental problems. Everyone involved in the joint movement with us has agreed on these reforms."
