The results of the 2024 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations have been published, with a total pass rate of 77.78 percent.
The general education boards recorded a 75.56 percent pass rate, while the madrasa and technical boards saw significantly higher success rates of 93.40% and 88.09%, respectively.

This time, 145,911 students got GPA-5 while 92,0365 students obtained GPA-5 in the previous year (2023). So, the number of GPA-5 has increased to 53,546 this time.
The 2024 HSC exams faced an unusual situation. While the exams started on June 30, the education authorities made the decision to suspend the remaining subject tests due to unforeseen circumstances after conducting exams for only a few subjects.
A total 14,50,790 students participate in HSC exam 2024.
