District Jubo Dal’s Protest Rally and Sit-in Program in Nilphamari

​Nilphamari District Jubo Dal has staged a massive protest rally and sit-in program against the anti-national anarchy and conspiracy of the banned organization Awami League. As part of the central central-announced program, this event was held today, June 23 (Tuesday) at 12:30 PM in front of the district office and on the main roads of the town. ​Thousands of leaders and activists from various levels of the organization participated in the protest rally and sit-in program, organized under the leadership of Shahadat Hossain Chowdhury, General Secretary of District Jubo Dal.


​Among others present at the program were Shamim Shah Alam Tomu of Sadar Upazila Jubo Dal, Rashed Rezauddoula, Member Secretary of Sadar Upazila Jubo Dal, Hasanuzzaman Tohid, Convenor of Pourashava Jubo Dal, and Abu Sayed Babu, General Secretary of Pourashava Jubo Dal, along with leaders and activists from all levels of the district, Sadar upazila, and pourashava units. ​Speaking at the rally during the sit-in program, the speakers said, "The politics of the fascist and genocidal organization Awami League, which oppressed and tortured the people of this country for the last 16 years, has been banned on this soil. Yet, they are trying to hatch various conspiracies and create anarchy from behind the scenes. There will be no place for fascism in this new Bangladesh, earned through the blood of students and the masses.


​The speakers further warned, "To ensure that the killers and accomplices of the fascist Awami League cannot create any kind of chaos or anti-national conspiracy, every activist of Jubo Dal must play the role of a guard on the streets. The streets were under the control of Jubo Dal, they are, and they will remain so in the future. ​The leaders expressed their firm commitment to making all centrally announced programs successful and urged the activists to remain constantly prepared to thwart the conspiracies of fascism at any cost. Later, a massive protest rally paraded the main roads of the town and concluded with a brief meeting.
