Rear Admiral Md. Ziaul Haque has been appointed as the 15th director general (DG) of Bangladesh Coast Guard, according to a notification of the Ministry of Public Administration.
The notification was issued on Sunday (September 29).
At the same time, the job of Rear Admiral Md. Ziaul Haque has been vested to the Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs, according to the ministry notification.
Apart from this, Rear Admiral Mir Ershad Ali, who is currently serving as DG of Coast Guard, has been taken back to the Bangladesh Navy.
