Land Minister Mizanur Rahman Minu, MP, has said there would be no benefit from showing the rule or fear of Delhi.
He said those who are hatching conspiracy against Bangladesh will have no place on the soil of the country.
He was addressing the 47th founding anniversary programme of the Jatiyatabadi Olama Dal at the Rajshahi District Shilpakala Academy this afternoon.
The minister said the caretaker government in 1996 secretly re-established the fascists causing damage to the country. A similar conspiracy is being planned in the coming December, he said.
Mizanur Rahman Minu said, Bangladesh has blessing of the Allah. Those who work at the behest of Delhi are accomplices of the devil.'
He also described Maududi as a creation of British and an agent of India saying Moududi divided the Muslims.
Pointing out the upcoming mayoral election in Rajshahi he called upon party leaders and activists to follow the instructions of the high command and work together for the nominated candidate.
Minu said due to people's love for Shaheed Zia and Begum Zia, he expects that BNP-backed candidates will win by a huge margin in the future.
Promising to work for the welfare of the Alem-Ulama, the minister said that those who are sitting in various institutions using religion will be removed and the responsibility of Eidgah, Bara Masjid and religious donations will be handed over to the Alem-Ulama.
In his speech as a special guest at the event, Advocate Shafiqul Haque Milon, MP, said that the misdeeds of those who have carried out torture and plunged the country into darkness in the last 17 years should not be forgotten.
He called on everyone to refrain from mudslinging and controversial activities within the party.
Maulana Tajuddin, president of the Rajshahi district chapter of the Jatiyatabadi Olama Dal presided over the event. Professor Nazrul Islam Mondal, MP, former mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul, President of Rajshahi Metropolitan unit of BNP Mamun Or Rashid Mamun, Administrator of Rajshahi City Corporation Mahfuzur Rahman Riton and Rajshahi Zila Parishad Administrator Advocate Ershad Ali Isha, were present, among others.
