The foundation stone of a six-storey academic building for BIAM Model School and College has been officially laid in the Nishindara Upashahar area of Bogura city.
On Monday (October 19), the foundation stone was formally unveiled by the Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, Md. Rezaul Karim Badsha, alongside Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Md. Toufiqur Rahman.
Among others present at the event were Md. Anwar Hossain, Executive Engineer of the Education Engineering Directorate (EED), Bogura; Alamgir Kabir, Director of the BM Foundation Regional Center, Bogura; Muha. Mustafizur Rahman, Principal of BIAM Model School and College; Moniruzzaman Moni, General Secretary of Bogura City BNP; and Sarkar Mukul, President of Bogura District Volunteer Corps (Swechchhasebak Dal), along with other concerned officials and dignitaries.
The building will be constructed under the implementation of the Education Engineering Directorate of the Ministry of Education. It is expected that the construction of this new academic building will significantly expand and enhance the institution's educational infrastructure.
