Mrs. Sajeda Samad, Member of Parliament for the 342nd reserved women's seat, handed over financial assistance checks from the Ministry of Social Welfare to helpless, poor, and destitute people at the Shah Waliullah Auditorium in the Colony area of Bogra town on Tuesday morning.
Prominent figures present on the occasion included Bogra City Jamaat Secretary Professor A. S. M. Abdul Malek, Publicity Secretary Principal Iqbal Hossain, 12th Ward Jamaat Secretary Sabbir Shahriyar Shuvo, the MP’s husband Abdus Samad, Azahar Ali Master, and Nannu Miah.
Principal Iqbal Hossain, Publicity Secretary of Bogra City Jamaat, stated that upon receiving applications from helpless individuals, MP Sajeda Samad wrote a letter requesting grants from the Ministry of Social Welfare. Later, after grants of 10,000 taka per person for 25 individuals arrived, the checks were handed over to the needy people.
