Various species of fishes are   free in Jhalakathi reservoir

229 kg of roe fish fry were released in 13 institutional reservoirs of Jhalakathi Sadar Upazila on Monday, September 18, under the conservation and development project of native species of fish and snails in Jhalakathi. Among these, 40 kg of fish fry were released in the government pond adjacent to the office of Jhalakathi Police Superintendent. Jhalakathi was present as the chief guest at this time

Mohitul Islam, Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (Rajapur and Kathalia Circle) Md. Masud Rana, Jhalakathi Sadar Upazila Fisheries Officer

Debashish Bachar, Officers-in-charge (OC) of Jhalakathi Sadar Police Station Md. Nasiruddin Sarkar, Fisheries Extension Officer Md. Ziauddin. Apart from this, various levels of officers and employees of Jhalakathi District Police and Fisheries Department were present.
