JU and  University sign MoU to boost research, academic cooperation

Jahangirnagar University (JU) and Hubei University of China today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance bilateral cooperation in education, research, and digital innovation. JU VC Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan and Hubei University of China's  Professor Dr. Liu Jianping signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institution in the seminar room of the JU Vice-Chancellor's office this afternoon. The signing ceremony was attended by
​JU Pro-VC (Administration) Prof. Dr. Sohel Ahmed, ​JU Treasurer Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rob, ​Hubei University International Office Director Prof. Dr. Cai Lei, School of Computer Science Dean  Prof. Dr. Zhang Yan, Deans of various faculties, chairpersons of several departments including Environmental Science, Economics, Microbiology, and Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering, and other high-ranking officials from both universities were also present.


Addressing the event, JU VC Prof Dr Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan said, "This partnership would broaden the scope of mutual cooperation. The agreement will provide a platform for researchers and students to exchange vital information and technical expertise. Under the MoU, both universities will engage in bilateral cooperation in smart health and digital transformation, as well as support joint academic research, exchange programs for faculty and students, and the organization of international seminars and workshops.
