The installation and oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected biennial committee of Bangladesh Extra Mohorar (Nakal Nabish) Association, Nilphamari Sadar Branch, was held amid a very joyful and festive atmosphere. The grand event was organized at the District Registrar's Office today, Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 10:30 AM. The District Registrar of Nilphamari, Mr. S. M. Sohel Rana Milon, was present as the chief guest at the function. Earlier, the biennial general meeting and election of the organization were held on June 25, 2026. In the election, which was conducted in a highly disciplined and democratic environment, 108 votes were cast out of a total of 109, reflecting the spontaneous and active participation of the members. Through the direct votes of the voters, a strong and effective 11-member executive committee was formed for the next two years.
In this newly elected committee, Bipul Chandra Roy won as the President, Moniruzzaman Montu as the Vice-President, and Anwarul Islam as the General Secretary. Among others elected to various positions are Assistant General Secretary Mizan Hossain, Organizing Secretary Rowshan Jamil Raja, Treasurer Rofiqul Islam, and Female Affairs Secretary Mukta Akter. Besides, Masud Rana, Wajkuruni, Nawab Ali, and Jahidul Islam Jahid took charge as general executive members. Mr. Abdullah Al-Masum, Sadar Sub-Registrar of Nilphamari, administered the oath of office to the members of the newly elected committee. Chilahati Sub-Registrar Mr. Adnan Ferdous, Domar Sub-Registrar Mr. Sirajul Islam, and Dimla Sub-Registrar Mr. Mohammad Sujauddin were present as special guests. In addition, Mr. Golam Robbani, General Secretary of Nilphamari Deed Writers' Association, was present as an invited guest.
In their speeches, the speakers extended their heartiest congratulations to the newly elected committee and expressed hope that this committee would play a leading role in realizing the long-standing legitimate rights of the Nakal Nabishes, improving professional standards, and increasing the dynamism and transparency of official work. In their reactions, the newly elected committee's President Bipul Chandra Roy and General Secretary Anwarul Islam expressed their deep gratitude to all members and voiced their firm commitment to remain dedicated to the overall development of the organization and the welfare of its members. At the end of the program, the officers, staff, and well-wishers from all walks of life congratulated and felicitated the newly elected leaders with floral greetings and crests.
