The Nilphamari District Office of the Temple-Based Child and Mass Education Program (6th Phase) has organized an award ceremony to honor its best teachers and students. The event was held on Monday (April 27) at noon in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's office, where crests and certificates were presented to the top five teachers and the top ten students of 2025. Additionally, prizes were distributed among 57 students who emerged as winners in the annual sports competition.
The ceremony was presided over by Gobinda Chandra Banik, Trustee of the Hindu Religious Welfare Trust, with Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Nayiruzzaman attending as the chief guest. Special guests at the event included Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Jyoti Bikash Chandra and Police Inspector Abdul Kuddus. Hamidur Rahman, Assistant Director of the Temple-Based Child and Mass Education Program, delivered the welcome address, while Probir Guha Rintu was also present. The entire program was moderated by Anup Kumar Kundu, the Field Supervisor of the district office.
In his speech, Chief Guest Mohammad Nayiruzzaman stated, "Students are effectively learning fundamental subjects through these centers. Alongside their studies, engaging them in regular sports and cultural activities will further enhance their mental and intellectual development." The award ceremony was attended by various department officials, teachers, and guardians.
