Nilphamari Collectorate Public School & College has emerged as the district champion in the Prime Bank National School Cricket Tournament 2025-2026. They secured the title by defeating International School Sayedpur in the final match held on Wednesday afternoon (April 22). Match Summary Winning the toss, International School Sayedpur elected to bat first but struggled against the disciplined bowling attack of the Collectorate team. They were bundled out for 103 runs in their allotted 50 overs. In pursuit of a modest target, Nilphamari Collectorate Public School & College chased it down comfortably, losing only 4 wickets. The 6-wicket victory ensured their dominance in the district phase of the tournament. Sajib Islam from the champion team was named 'Man of the Match' for his outstanding performance. The match was officiated by BCB-qualified umpires Rony Prodhan and Saiful Islam Manik.
Following the final, a prize-giving ceremony was held where Mohammad Nayiruzzaman, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Nilphamari, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and handed over the trophies to the champion and runner-up teams. The event was presided over by Advocate Abu Mohammad Soyem, Member Secretary of the proposed District Sports Association.
