Foundation Stone Laid and Reception Held for UP Building Worth Around 4 Crore Taka in Bogdaburi, Dom

​The foundation stone for the newly constructed Union Parishad Complex Building of No. 1 Bogdaburi Union Parishad in Domar Upazila, Nilphamari, at a cost of nearly 4 crore taka, has been laid. On this occasion, a mass reception and discussion meeting was organized on Friday night (July 31) at 9 PM on the Chilahati Fazil Madrasa premises by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Bogdaburi and Ketakibari Union BNP, along with its associate and affiliated organizations. Rehana Akhtar Ranu, Member of Parliament for the reserved women's seat and member of the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, was present as the honored guest.
​The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of Bogdaburi Union Parishad and former President and Convener of Domar Upazila BNP, Md. Reyajul Islam (Kalu). Engineer Shahrin Islam Chowdhury Tuhin, former Member of Parliament for the Nilphamari-01 (Domar-Dimla) constituency, addressed the event as the chief guest.
​Special guests included Md. Akhtaruzzaman Suman, member of Nilphamari District BNP and former General Secretary of Domar Upazila BNP; Md. Shafiqul Islam (Kanchan), former President of Bogdaburi Union BNP; and Md. Khatibur Rahman, former President of Ketakibari Union BNP.
​In his presidential speech, Md. Reyajul Islam (Kalu) said, "During the tenure of the previous fascist Hasina government, no development took place in Bogdaburi Union. The trend of development that has started in Bogdaburi Union in the five months since BNP came to power must be continued."
​Speaking as the chief guest, Engineer Shahrin Islam Chowdhury Tuhin said, "Stay beside BNP, you won't have to ask for anything. You will get it without even asking." He further added that everyone must work unitedly alongside BNP to realize the legitimate demands of the people. At the same time, he called upon party leaders, workers, and supporters to ensure the victory of the BNP-nominated candidate in the upcoming local government elections.
​Rakib Hossain, a leader of Chilahati Government College Chhatra Dal, spoke at the event. He raised a strong demand to introduce Honors courses at Chilahati Government College. During this time, Shahidul Islam, former member of Ward No. 7 of Bogdaburi Union Parishad, put forward the demand to implement Chilahati as a new Upazila. Engineer Shahrin Islam Chowdhury Tuhin listened attentively to all the demands of the speakers and assured them of phased implementation, urging everyone to stand by BNP.
​Leaders and activists of local BNP and its associate organizations at all levels, public representatives, various social and political personalities, and a large number of general people were present at the event.
