Haaland Hat-trick kick out Liverpool from FA Cup

After the international break, club football resumed today, and on the very first day, the FA Cup quarter-final between Manchester City and Liverpool FC kicked off at 5:45 PM Bangladesh time. From the very beginning, City looked in excellent rhythm. A challenge by Virgil van Dijk resulted in a penalty for Liverpool, but Erling Haaland converted from the spot to give City the opening goal.
Shortly afterward, in added time of the first half, City doubled their lead with a marvellous header, making it 2–0 before the break. After halftime, Liverpool struggled to create clear chances, while City maintained control of the game. Later, a Ghanaian player in outstanding form this season added another goal, extending City’s advantage and putting them firmly in command. The match then saw no stopping Erling Haaland, who went on to complete his hat-trick with assists from Nico and O’Reilly, sealing a dominant victory for Manchester City.
