Mahfuzul Huq has submitted his nomination paper for the post of President in the upcoming triennial election of the Bogura Shapla Super Market Business Association. After submitting his nomination on Saturday afternoon, President candidate Mahfuzul Huq told journalists, "The interests of the traders will be protected, and a business-friendly environment will be ensured. I have always stood by all small and large traders of the market in any problem, and I want to continue doing so."
He added that if elected, he would work on modernizing the market, strengthening security, installing full CC cameras, ensuring fire safety, and maintaining a clean environment. Internal facilities will also be enhanced so that buyers can shop comfortably. "I will work to ensure 100% transparency and accountability in managing the association and maintain good relations among traders. Insha'Allah, I will protect the rights of all traders and stand by them in times of trouble," he said. In response to a question, he firmly stated, "No type of terrorism or extortion will be tolerated in Shapla Market." The election is scheduled to be held on November 7.
