As part of its Ramadan campaign, Qatar Charity (QC) distributed food packages to Rohingya refugees in Bhasan Char, Bangladesh, with the aim of sharing the joy of Eid al-Fitr.

The project was implemented with the support of the kind people of the state of Qatar and is benefiting more than 35,000 refugees living on the remote island surrounded by the sea, said a press release issued by its Dhaka office today.

The food packages, containing shemai, sugar, noodles, puffed rice, flattened rice, juice powder, and spices, delivered to the Rohingya families will help to alleviate their burdens, especially on Eid Al-Fitr.

The responsible government officials of the Bhasanchar camp appreciated this food aid program of Qatar Charity before Eid.
