An introductory and discussion meeting of the Zia Cultural Organization (ZISAS) was held in Bogura. The event took place on Saturday evening in the hall room of Haveli Restaurant in the city.
The meeting was chaired by Arman Hossain, President of ZISAS Rajshahi Division, and moderated by Farukul Islam Faruk, General Secretary of Bogura District ZISAS.
Mominur Rashid Shine, Joint General Secretary of the ZISAS Central Committee, was present as the chief guest. In his speech, he expressed optimism that the members of the newly formed Bogura District and City committees of ZISAS would promote healthy cultural practices in Bogura's cultural sphere. He noted that Shaheed Zia had opened the doors for children's cultural development through 'Notun Kuri', Begum Zia evaluated cultural activists, and currently, the worthy son of Bogura, Prime Minister of Bangladesh Tarique Rahman, is supporting cultural workers in various ways. Members of ZISAS are receiving this support, and he hoped ZISAS would play a vital role in expanding indigenous culture. Sheikh Abdul Aziz, Co-Organizational Secretary of the Central Committee, attended as the special guest.
Among others present at the meeting were Bogura District ZISAS President Anwar Hossain Opel, City ZISAS President Sultan Ahmed Tuhin, General Secretary Masud Sarkar Kanak, and leaders from various levels of the organization.
The leaders present at the event were welcomed with flowers. During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the introduction of the organization, its organizational activities, and future plans.
