A complete recitation of the Holy Quran (Quran Khatam) and a special prayer session (Doa Mahfil) were held in Bogura on the occasion of the birthday of Barrister Zaima Rahman, the only daughter of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and renowned physician Dr. Zubaida Rahman. Organized by her family, the program took place after the Asr prayer on Sunday at the Baitur Rahman Central Mosque in Bogura. Prayers were offered seeking good health, long life, happiness, prosperity, and well-being for Barrister Zaima Rahman.
The prayer session was attended by Adv. AKM Mahbubur Rahman, Member of the Advisory Council to the BNP Chairman; VP Saiful Islam, Ali Asgar Talukder Hena, and Zainul Abedin Chan, Members of the BNP National Executive Committee; Fazlul Bari Belal, former General Secretary of Bogura District BNP; Ahsanul Taiyab Zakir and M.R. Islam Swadhin, Vice Presidents of Bogura District BNP; Shahid Un Nabi Salam and KM Khairul Bashar, Organizational Secretaries of District BNP; Touhidul Alam Mamu and Sheikh Tahauddin Nahin, Joint General Secretaries; Humayun Kabir Geda, Shamim Reza Shamim, and Arfanur Rahman Rentu, Assistant Organizational Secretaries; Abu Hasan, General Secretary of District Juba Dal; and Habibur Rashid Sondhan, President of District Juba Dal. Representing the family, Syed Aminul Haq Dewan Sojol, Rakibul Islam Shuvo, Syed Abdul Gafur Dara, Saiduzzaman Shakil, Alamin Sarkar, and Uzzal Hossain were present. The prayer and Munajat were conducted by Imam Abdullah of the Baitur Rahman Central Mosque.
