Youth’s Logic and Knowledge Light up the Conclusion of Land Service Week in Nilphamari

With an intellectual and lively arrangement of debate and quiz competitions, the three-day-long Land Service Week and Land Fair concluded in Nilphamari. Highlighting the theme 'People-Friendly Automated Land Management: Secured Land, Prosperous Future', the event commenced on May 19, featuring an eye-catching and vibrant participation of students on its closing day.
On the final day of the fair, a special debate competition was organized at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's office. The motion of the debate was— 'Digital land services alone can completely eradicate land-related harassment'. Elevating their arguments in favor of this motion, Nilphamari Government College earned the glory of becoming the champion in the competition. On the other hand, Nilphamari Government Women's College, which participated against the motion, secured the runner-up trophy. Before the excitement of the debate competition could fade, a general knowledge or quiz competition began. Proving their merit there, the top seven students were selected as winners.
Attending the event as the chief guest, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Nayiruzzaman distributed prizes among the winning students. However, it was not just the recognition of the students' merit; field-level work was also acknowledged on this closing stage. Three Union Land Officers were presented with special honorary mementos for providing excellent and efficient services at the union level.
The three best officers to receive the accolades are ATM Shahgahan Ali of Domar Municipal Land Office, Dulal Chandra Roy of Jhunagachh Chapani Union in Dimla Upazila, and Md. Rezwan Hossain of Kaimari Land Office in Jaldhaka Upazila.
Regarding the overall event, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Md. Saidul Islam stated that the main objective of this three-day Land Service Week was to introduce people to modern and digital land management, which has been successfully accomplished through this closing event.
