Bangladesh cricket team returned home with their historic win 2-0 test series against Pakistan on Wednesday night in two groups via United Arab Emirates and Qatar except for Shakib al Hasan.

Shakib left the team camp in Rawalpindi for the United Kingdom where he is scheduled to play a four-day County Championship game for Surrey County Cricket Club, beginning this Monday, although Surrey have not yet officially announced the inclusion of the Bangladesh all-rounder.

Following his schedule with Surrey, Shakib will join Bangladesh team in India end of this month.

Bangladesh cricket team will join the ongoing national camp this Sunday.

Ahead of the tour of India, national cricketers who were not part of the two Tests in Pakistan started training at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium Wednesday.

Meanwhile, though Bangladesh Cricket Board has been in internal discussion regarding the future of head coach Chandika Hathurusingha, it has been reported that the former Sri Lanka cricketer is supposed to join the national team on September 12.

Bangladesh on tour of India later this month will play two Tests that are part of the World Test Championship, followed by a three-match Twenty20 International series.

The team will leave for India on September 15 with the first Test slated for Chennai from September 19.

The second Test will be played in Kanpur from September 27.

The three T20Is will be played in Gwalior, Delhi and Hyderabad on October 6, 9 and 12 respectively.
