Lieutenant Colonel Sami-Ud-Dowla Chowdhury of the Bangladesh Army has been appointed as the Director of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate.
This information was announced in a notification signed by Abdullah Arif Muhammad, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, on Wednesday (July 3).
Lt Col Sami-Ud-Dowla Chowdhury will replace the current ISPR Director, Lt Colonel Abu Hayder Mohammad Rasheluzzaman.
The notification stated that this order, issued in the public interest, will take immediate effect.
