Engineer Shahrin Islam Chowdhury Tuhin, Convener of the Engineers Association of Bangladesh and former Member of Parliament, has stood by the helpless families affected by a devastating fire in the Monsapara Borobari area of Nilphamari Sadar Upazila. Under his special direction and personal funding, various essential commodities and dry food items, including rice, pulses, potatoes, oil, and meat, were distributed as relief on Sunday (June 7) among these families who lost everything in the fire. Local leaders and activists of the BNP and its affiliate organizations promptly carried out this special assistance initiative with the humanitarian objective of alleviating some of the severe suffering and food crisis faced by the fire-stricken families.
During the distribution of the food supplies, the attending leaders and activists stated that Engineer Tuhin has always stood by the ordinary and working-class people of Nilphamari through their joys and sorrows. They assured that in the future as well, during any natural disaster, helplessness, or crisis, he will remain similarly dedicated to the welfare of the district's people and continue his help and cooperation.
Among others, Akhtaruzzaman Akhtar, former Office Secretary of District BNP; Kawsar Ali Khondoker, former General Secretary of Itakhola Union BNP; Abul Kalam, former General Secretary of Kundupukur Union BNP; and Zikrul Haq, former Ward President, along with responsible leaders and activists of various levels from the BNP and its associate organizations, as well as local dignitaries, were present and provided overall cooperation during this humanitarian food assistance distribution program..
